A new partial observation-style glass elevator cab was created for use at VGM Group’s Iowa Headquarters expansion. The cab is located in the building’s central atrium and rises five stories inside a 360-degree vertical glass elevator shaft.

This cab contains front and rear door openings, and one sidewall composed of vertical and horizontal stainless steel mullions & clear glass while the other sidewall is composed of cherry veneer panels.

Copper paneling, which is a distinguishing feature of the building exterior, was used to provide a translucent covering around the entire elevator shaft.
